The ABC Group of companies, today an economic powerhouse, dates back to 1931, the year when its founder Sir Moilin Jean Ah Chuen set up shop in one of the busiest streets of Port Louis. This modest venture was set up opposite the Central Market. This first ABC store (standing for Au Bazar Central or "At the Central Marketplace") was also interpreted as meaning Aux Bonnes Choses. This in French was an invitation to customers to buy top quality goods and services and translated into a real brand name as the business became known as "The House of Quality & Service". From this first successful venture, Sir Moilin embarked into the expansion of his business adding cold storage, food imports, wholesale and general distribution which he traded under the name of Chue Wing & Co. Ltd. The 80's were yet another fruitful decade for the business as the ABC group added Shipping and Freight forwarding into its activities. However, 1985 was probably one of the most important turning points for the ABC Group when it clinched the dealership of Nissan vehicles in Mauritius.

The Group operates under 4 main Divisions which are Automobile (Nissan is the leading car dealership brand in Mauritius), Food, Shipping & Logistics as well as Financial Services.

ABC Motors Co. Ltd.
ABC Motors markets a wide range of Nissan passenger and commercial vehicles as well as Nissan Diesel trucks, tractors and buses.

Since its establishment in 1985, the Company has ranked among the top sales performers in the vehicles market and has received numerous awards on its Sales Performance, after sales, service and Spare Parts facilities, winning the Nissan Gold Prize Award on several occasions, the Nissan Global Award 2005 and 2007.

For the year 2008, ABC Motors was again the No. 1 company, both as a Brand Leader and in terms of overall market share of motor vehicles sold in Mauritius during the year. ABC Motors has been the market leader for the past 13 consecutive years!

ABC Autotech Ltd
ABC Autotech Ltd. is the sole distributor of Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Porsche vehicles.

Ginza Motors
Ginza Motors is a dealer of second hand vehicles imported directly from Japan and Singapore.

ABC Coach Works Ltd
ABC Coach Works Ltd is a member company of the ABC Group. Categorised as a pioneer in the field of luxury coach building, ABC Coach Works is in the business of Bus Coach manufacturing since 1987. The factory and the registered offices of the company are located at Les Guibies, Pailles. Among other diversified products and services offered by ABC Coach Works are the supply of: (i) Bus and Coach bodies, (ii) Air conditioning for buses, (iii) Distribution and installation of tail lifts, (iv) SWAN Air Copressors, (v) NHT Garage Equipment, (vi) manufacturing of Canopies for Pick-ups, ABC Coach Works also markets (vii) Second-hand trucks (imported from Japan), and is the sole distributor of (viii) Yutong Luxury Coaches - No. 1 brand in China's bus industry and (ix) Dongfeng trucks - one of the biggest truck manufacturer in China.

Quikfix Car Centre brings a new dimension in automotive service as it houses under one roof a tyre centre equipped with the latest wheel balancing and alignment facilities and also provides a complete solution regarding the maintenance of all brands and models of vehicles. ABC Marketing
ABC Marketing Ltd. specializes in the importation and distribution of European and Asian high quality tyres at the most affordable prices like Vredestein, Hankook, Apollo and Ornet.

ABC Marketing Ltd. is also the exclusive distributor of Armor All, the industry leader in car care appearance products.


Chue Wing & Co. Ltd.
Founded in 1931 by Sir Moilin Jean Ah Chuen, ABC Foods, the trading name of Chue Wing & Co. Ltd. has been associated with Quality and Service in the food distribution field, hence the trademark "The House of Quality & Service".

It has established itself over the years as one of the main distributors of food products in Mauritius. Its fleet of vehicles distributes a wide range of foodstuffs, including frozen foods, to all wholesale & retails outlets in the island. In addition to its wholesale and islandwide distribution activities, the company still operates its original retail outlet in the capital city ? Port Louis. The Company is also a major supplier of top quality products for the hotels and restaurants in Mauritius.

This company offers scheduled shipping service and acts as shipping agent for Hamburg Sud ? Columbus Line, Conti-Line and Metall Und Rostoff.

Speedfreight Ltd.
This company is one of the largest freight forwarders in the country for both sea and air cargo. It runs its own container freight station, supported by full trucking and forklift facilities.

ABC Banking Corporation Ltd is the newest arm of the ABC Group of Companies. Previously known as ABC Finance & Leasing Ltd, the company changed its name in April 2010 to ABC Banking Corporation Ltd and was granted its banking licence on June 01, 2010.
